Week 9 Game Day Chatter | Chiefs @ Cowboys | 11-5-2017

Props to the Redskins for helping us out by beating the Seahawks.

Yeah with all the Chiefs weapons on offense we did a great job containing them. The run defense was great. Our coverage was actually pretty good. The pass rush either got sacks or pressured the QB into quick throws. I was impressed.

The offense was equally great. We ran the ball well. We passed the ball well. We had them off balance all game long. And again our offense didn't turn the ball over at all which is a huge key to winning games.

Yup.

Very impressive win and the kind that suggests that we are legit.

As of this moment the Cowboys would be the 6th seed thanks to the Seahawks loss.

Anything new on the status of Williams, Dez, and Tyron Smith?

I saw that Tyron Smith has an injured groin but haven't seen anything mentioning the severity.

Impressive win, especially overcoming the the end of half train wreck. If healthy our offense can score against anyone. Defense is looking better but still has too many breakdowns.

It's just too bad we have Zekes inevitable suspension looming over us like a black cloud. Even with him we're now just a borderline wildcard team battling Carolina and Seattle for one of the spots. Unless this drags into next season he will miss 6 of our last 8 games.

A strain isn't as bad as a pull or tear but regardless, a groin injury is never a good thing for someone that relies on forward and lateral movement like an OT. You get to be more prone to those types of injuries once you get past your early 20s, too.

And we'll beat Seattle.

That's not being cocky, I just have faith in our offense and even our defense should do ok against an offense that isn't very good.

The Texans game was an anomaly. Today was more indicative of how Seattle's offense has performed all season. I think our defense will hold them to 17.

And then the game is in Dallas.

I love our chances in that one.

Football Night in America said Dez has an ankle sprain and they won't know the severity until tomorrow.

T-Will's must not have been that serious.

T-Will was able to put pressure on his and was even smiling on the sideline, so I think he'll be ok.

As long as Dez's injury isn't of the high ankle variety, he'll play next week.

Rodney Harrison doubled down and reaffirmed that Dak Prescott is the best QB in the NFC East.

Dak is in the best situation for him. Great Ol and running back. As an actual passer, he’s not as good as Wentz or Kirk. But because of his athleticism and his situation, you could make an argument for him

And you get the feeling they aren’t even really clicking on all cylinders.

This has to be posted again. :rofl
