We basically just put the Chiefs in the exact same situation Atlanta should have put the Patriots in during the SB had they simply run the ball 3 times and kick the field goal.

They have to score twice in under 2 minutes with no timeouts.

Aside from that end of half meltdown, the defense has played it's best game of the year, IMO. Especially when you consider the quality of the opponent.

There's no denying the defense has turned a corner the last month or so. I think this is what most of us were hoping for coming into the season. We knew we had a green defense but the hope was that we'd see significant improvement as the season progressed. Since early October that's exactly what we've been getting.
