Uhh, what about chili on a baked potato?

Not to mention fries, mashed potatoes, potato salad, etc.

I was referring to viability as a side dish to complement the entire meal. It is less complimentary and requires a lot more doctoring.

Here, let me make this chili to spruce up this poor choice of starch that I have made.
