Can Cowboys erase 23 years of history when they face Saints on Sunday?

There was a time long ago, before people put canvas and polypropylene bags in the trunk of their Prius to drive to the grocery store, when fans of the New Orleans Saints would place paper bags over their heads.
Maybe the Who Dat Nation can lend those ancient artifacts to Cowboys fans for this series.
The Cowboys and Saints meet for the fifth time in the last six seasons Sunday night at AT&T Stadium. The indignation the Cowboys have suffered goes beyond their 49-17 loss in the Big Easy 10 months ago.
Jason Witten is in his 12th season with the Cowboys. He was part of the team that ended the undefeated dream of New Orleans back in December of ’09. But does he remember the last time he was on a team that beat the Saints in Texas?
“Oh gosh,’’ Witten said. “It had to be back in ’04 or ’05, something like that.’’
Trick question. The Cowboys haven’t beaten the Saints here in nearly 23 years. Witten was 9 years old when quarterback Steve Beuerlein engineered that victory.
“Yeah, I wasn’t here,’’ Witten confirmed.
New Orleans enters Sunday night’s nationally televised affair with eight wins in the last nine games of this series. The Saints (1-2) must win to right themselves after a slow start.
The Cowboys must win to avoid falling to .500 for the fourth consecutive season after a 2-1 start.
And the odds favor…

I hate the damn Saints fans and their stupid Who Dat chant. Unfortunately I imagine it will be loud there tonight.

Remember all the guys who wanted "no part" of JJ Watt in the draft?

That wasnt me. Im not unhappy but wished we could have had both.

Yep. I remember that game we went to back in like '04 and were surrounded by those assholes.

FYI, I didn't have my first beer until about 30 mins ago. Assured loss.

Im pretty sure it was a given long before that.

Shut up. I'd like to feel like I had a hand in the loss.
