For discussion of the non-Dallas games this week.

Pats/Panthers, Tenn/KC and Lions/Jags tonight.
 
I hate to admit it, but Kony Ealy is playing like a madman right now.

Cam Newton is such a shitty QB. I fail to get why he has been able to get where he has at this point.

What point is there to a QB if he cannot be remotely accurate?

On another note, Charles Tillman still looks like he can play.

I'm watching he Lions-Jaguars game and Luke Joeckel is getting his ass handed to him.

He flat out sucks.

He's going to get Bortles killed. The Jags have to look at other options at LT.

He's incredibly overrated.

I got raked over the coals for suggesting that Tannehill is a comparable QB who is trending upward while Newton has leveled off.

He's probably like Eric Fisher. Teams were forcing the LT pick in that draft.

The funny thing is the production crew played some edited video showing plays and instances where Joeckel struggled last season. Then like clockwork, as soon as the video footage ended Phillip Hunt started working him over on about 3 plays on the same drive.

Ayuh. When we took Tyron Smith everyone thought of him as a project OL. Gotta thank Callahan for his progression. Send a project over to teams like the Jags and you can pretty much say farewell to their career
 
Didn't expect Joekel to suck. Thought he'd be a Jake Matthews level player.
 
I'm really trying not to fall in love with Bortles all over again this preseason cause the regular season could be brutal with his OL, but he's been on point through 3 games. Efficient, making plays and limiting his gunslinger mentality so not to commit turnovers.

I loved Bortles coming out of college and think he can catch on somewhere. The Jags are the worst team for a project like Bortles, but I think he can be a pretty good QB somewhere else after he finishes his rookie contract
 
Okay what is the plan for tonight's game? Do the starters go for at least a half? They need the work or their opener is sure going to be ragged.

Watching the Eagles/Packers replay. I have to admit, the Eagles look damn good. They pretty much embarrassed the Packers starting defense.
