Week 3 Preseason Chatter Thread - 8/22/13-8/23/13

Interesting blocking concepts from the Seahawks...using a third tackle like an H-back in motion and everything.
 
Wilson at times shows a better command of his offense than the other two big shots in Griffin and Kaepernick.
 
I think Russell Wilson is legit.

He just seems to have "it".

That's what most impressed me about him last year. His composure and ability to make the right read under pressure were very impressive.
 
If he can deal with this...he can deal with anything...

Another give up play in the dress rehearsal game.

Doesn't make sense to me.
 
This is an important year for the Packers IMO.

I think they need to get back a little mojo. If they don't I could see them drifting away behind the other power teams in the conference.
 
I see Rodgers brought back that awful stache.
 
What I find funny is that the Packers have won championships behind average lines by adjusting what they do offensively.

They are doing it now with a rookie at LT....quick passes.

Has Garrett ever done that? Nope.
 
You keep waiting for Finley to break out, but he never actually does.

Maybe this will be the season for him since Jennings won't be around to steal opportunities anymore.

He has supposedly been having a great camp.
 
I wouldn't call the Seahawks OL a star studded group but they are well coached. Tom Cable is one of the best.

Callahan couldn't hold his jock.

They have a stud LT and center but are mediocre at the other 3 spots.

Sounds like what our OL could be in a year or two honestly but we need to go from terrible to mediocre at RG and RT. I think Leary could be passable at LG but we'll see if he can stay on the field.
