Week 3 Gameday Chatter Thread | Falcons at Cowboys | 9/27/2015

Williams was not the issue.

Instead of wondering why he body catches, we might want to worry about a shit defense that couldn't hold several leads.

Not in this game, necessarily, but he is absolutely part of the problem overall.

So Matt Cassell next week then?

What would Cassel do differently than Weeden?

The sad sick thing about this game is that we showed we have bigger problems than just a backup QB.

We have defensive issues that we can't deal with.

And now, no more football for me today. Part of why I hate noon games. When we lose I don't feel like watching football the rest of the day.

No, he's not.

He is the least of things to worry about. He is not supposed to, nor should he be expected to step up into a Bryant-like role.

If that is what we think by "next man up", just choke yourself.

Looks like Panthers win. Saints are gonna be amped up next week at 0-3

Exactly.

Seriously. I'm searching for shit to do for the rest of the day now.

I can expect him to catch the god damn ball, though.

I switched to American Pickers just to get it off of football.

To a degree he is because he is supposed to be the vertical threat and for some reason the coaches either don't trust him or trust the QB to go vertically. It's seems to be more about his routes because Weeden can throw long.

Nice catch by Marvin Jones. That's how a #2 receiver is supposed to step up.

Both lines completely choked in this game. OL started off destroying then I guess they got tired or something.
