Week 2 Preseason Chatter Thread

Just you.

You must be looking at it from Okie fan boy eyes.

He was not very sharp and his mechanics were very sloppy. That's not being an accurate QB. He looked jittery and was rushing his throws before his feet were set.

Packers/Steelers should be pretty decent.

The Packers got it right with preseason. Pats, Steelers, Eagles and Saints, all decent opponents.

Good way to evaluate your team.

His throws that went incomplete were way off the mark. Heck even some of his easy completions he made the receiver really work to make the catch. Anyone who watched that game could see Bradford's throws were horribly erratic. Penalties and the run game got him a TD, but Bradford looked like shit. Of course so did Flacco so you can only read so much into it.

Big time push off by Antonio Brown. Tried to be subtle about it, no dice.

Andy Reid made Koy Detmer, Ty Detmer, AJ Feely, Kevin Kolb, and an absolutely done Jeff Garcia look good. That was a QB friendly system.

Absolutely right.

That's why I think Steve Young is overrated. Steve Bono and Elvis Grbac looked great in that system as well when they needed to play in relief duty, and they both looked like pure shit out of that system.

Reid's was an extension of the Bill Walsh WC offense, and a good coach who knows what he's doing can make an offense with average players look good in it, and that's what Reid did.

Steelers dumped Rodgers for a safety. Good rush and finally a play from Dupree who looked lost the first couple of weeks.

I place the blame of that safety on Aaron Rodgers.

He has to get rid of the ball quicker in that situation. If nothing is there, throw it away quickly.

Yeah, when he stepped up, he should have got rid of it. Still a good rush where the backside guys kept their angles and closed back in. A lot of the times, teams over rush Rodgers to the outside and don't pinch back in.

Pouncey got rolled up on pretty good there.

Fortunately it appears to be the ankle rather than the knee.

Sucks for them.

It was on this play...

Aw shucks for them.

I think we say it every year, but injuries seem higher.

I guess by the time it is all said and done at the end of the season, it is about the same.

His injury was non-contact as well. Those are always the most worrisome, IMO.

Non contact injuries are rarely good.

Looks like Pouncey's injury may be a little more serious than I thought.

Some big names going down with serious injuries and we're barely into the 2nd qtr.

Just tugging femurs.
