Week 2 Gameday Chatter Thread | Cowboys at Eagles | 9/20/2015

McClain isn't better than Lee or Crawford. It is arguable whether or not Hardy is better than Lee

Im a Lee fan, but he will have to stay healthy to prove his greatness to me. 2 games this season simply ain't enough, but it's a start.
Wait til we get a glimpse of Hardy breaking some QB in half, and the swarm that will ensue.

This defense is better, and we need 'em now.

When we have Hardy and Gregory on the field at the same time is what I'm really looking forward to. That's a scary combo.

I guess we just have different definitions. I'd still consider Bo Jackson great even with all his health issues.

Either way, our defense is going to be pretty scary once you add Hardy and Gregory back into it

Didn't Rodgers suffer this exact same injury 2 seasons ago?

I remember he came back just in time for the season finale and he helped them win the division at Chicago.

How much time did he miss?

Rodgers missed five weeks. But he also had not broken the same bone before like Romo has.

I don't think that's an indictment of Murray's burst or lack thereof, it has more to do with the crazy penetration our D-line wa getting. It was amazing how often our guys were in the backfield before he even got the ball. So with an early jump and the right angle, you're going to see RBs "run down" by lineman very often.

Yep and the weak guard play from Philly only made it worse.

Demarcus Lawrence was able to run him down from behind. Maybe Murray is just done.

He also isn't making any friends with his teammates the way he was acting on the sideline. That's not going to help him.

Does the prior break really matter in terms of rehab though?

I think most of what it comes down to is the severity of the break. We should find that out today. If it's the type that requires surgery it's probably and 8 week timetable. If it isn't then I think we could be closer to that 5 to 6 week range.

Don't know if you've heard, but the Eagles don't look great after two weeks of football. The offensive line is really struggling. Like, REALLY struggling.

So bad that the Eagles, if they were one NFL player and not a team, would rank 36th in rushing yards.

The list of people above them includes two Redskins running backs, two Bengals running backs, two Titans running backs, two Packers running backs, four rookie running backs, one LeSean McCoy (replaced by DeMarco Murray), one Joseph Randle (replaced DeMarco Murray) and four quarterbacks.
