Week 2 Gameday Chatter Thread | Cowboys at Eagles | 9/20/2015

I just don't see the point of 4 active RBs. If you want to give Michael carries then you need to bench McFadden in my opinion.

I agree. He hasn't done shit. We will really need the chance of pace Michael will provide. Otherwise, we are just trotting out the exact same RBs on different series trying to pretend they are different.

Oh, and on the subject, how about we not substitute a full series at a time? Roll them by play.

Remember last year's new penalty of RBs lowering their helmet when in the open field?

Yeah, I don't, either.

So do you agree with that? It seemed like you were agreeing with it. I certainly think it played into part of the signing but I don't buy for a second that Chip didn't sign him because he thought Murray would help his offense get better.

What?????? That sounds like something Jiggy would say.

I think Butler is going to start contributing. Just needs more then half a week of prep to get in a groove with our QB.

He would have been at least close to that pass in the EZ had he not been held.

Mcfadden just blows. We are using Dunbar as the screen catching back anyway. CMike needs to come up and Mcfadden prob needs to sit.

This hasn't been a secret. McFadden will never be productive to the team. He is just a proven non productive player.

Not sure why you're being defensive about it. I just disagree with Deion's opinion that the Eagles picked up Murray strictly to screw the Cowboys over. Quit being weird.

I think he would be good in the role we are using Dunbar, but do we really need 2 RBs like that? I would have loved to have Michael running the ball in the fourth quarter against the Eagles. He would have been perfect as a closer in this game.

I am not being defensive about it. I am trying to figure out where you consider it was something I agreed with. I was pretty clear that I was passing along something I heard Deion say. Nothing more. Your inference is that I agreed with it is a mystery to me.

BOOM!

I guess I misunderstood your post then. I guess I thought you were agreeing with Schmidty who was agreeing with Deion. No big deal.

8 weeks without Romo?

Looks like there are two guaranteed losses in those 7 games as of right now.

BOOM!

Well I don't think anyone can make an argument right now that we should have kept Murray. The jury is still out on Randle. He had some nice runs today but he also got stuffed too much. We couldn't run very well against the Eagles last year either.

So uh, when I said the Rams were the team to beat, I meant that several teams would beat them. :unsure

I think the defense will carry the team to a couple of wins such as Atlanta. The team will get stronger on the defensive side in a couple of weeks and I would hope the new RB will have been installed by then. If that happens then the running game has a chance for a, one, two punch. If that happens it will take some pressure off Weeden and make his efforts more effective. That's a lot of ifs.

Yeah I think the Packers are clearly the team to beat in the NFC. Luckily no one else in the NFC has really looked all that great so far.
