Week 15 Gameday Chatter | Cowboys vs. Eagles | 12/14/2014

But Megatron would be a nightmare for us and we'd have our hands full keeping them off the scoreboard.

Still, I like our chances against any team not named Green Bay.....and even then, this season has been full of so many pleasant surprises that I'd be willing to give these Cowboys a chance against anyone.

Big Cal is not exactly having a career year. He's been controlled pretty well in a number of games this year.

Yea, but our secondary is awful so all bets are off on us controlling any elite WR.

I would put Moore and Church on Megatron, Scandrick on Tate, then Carr on whoever.

Carr was a player before he got here...that is what is so maddening. What did KC do to hide his deficiencies? Their pass rush was not what it is now, so we can't say that was the reason he looked so good. He was feisty and got after it in KC...here, not so much.

He's affected by whatever curse makes it impossible for Cowboys defensive backs to play zone effectively.

I get what he is saying, though. Not so much about how the pass was thrown but at the time our offense was sputtering and then it seemed like they just said fuck it. Felt like they just threw it deep because the run game was stuffed and didn't know what else to do with it.

If you think this you are clueless about football, nothing about those plays said fuck it.

They saw Fletcher in single coverage and went there, Romo looked the safety off both times.

He can't play man either.

Maybe it's just that he was a 5th round pick for a reason. A lot of guys who are good players that come out of the bottom of the draft have their lack of pure talent catch up with them when they near 30 years old. Cortland Finnegan comes to mind as an example.

Also, Fletcher cox is a beast he is turning into the player I thought he would be.

Melton has just disappeared there is no way I am giving him anything over 3 million and I am leary about that.

Quit being a homer...sheesh!

He was a good player for us too in 2012, but since then the guy has been a liability.

Martin got buttfucked by Cox.

Might be the only time that happened this year, and probably a good thing. Martin has been stellar for a rookie, he might have needed a just a touch of humbling for his own good.

Not early on, but apparently Martin's ankle got twisted before halftime which explains alot.

He got beat bad in the first game too. Not a big deal, he is a rookie, but he did not hold up in either game.

When we drafted Crawford I said I thought he was a poor man's Cox as a prospect. Both had similar body types and college production, Crawford was more raw coming out and the ACL obviously set him back, but I think that comparison still holds.
