Week 1 Preseason Chatter Thread - 8/8/13

The Raiders/Cowboys will be LIVE on NFLN tomorrow night...but only after the NE/Philly schlubs finish. Gay.
 
Chris Johnson just burned the Redskins. Looked good on that run. Amazing what signing Levitre and drafting Warmack will do for an offensive line.
 
That was a nasty juke Johnson put on that Skins DB.

The guy had a better season last year that people think and I think the guy is back to being a weapon again.

If you ever noticed most of his big runs over the years were not running wide and turning a corner to score. They were right between the tackles.

He could have a very good year if Warmack and Levitre stay healthy.

I'd be worried if I were Ray Maualuga.

He's getting the Marcus Spears treatment from a few years ago where even though he's a "starter", they are playing him fairly deep into a meaningless game.

That usually means the team is hoping you can convince then to keep you.
 
The Redskins getting Orakpo back helps them out a lot.

It's funny how he largely went unnoticed last year, but he had a lot of long runs/catches last year.

Being as people were questioning whether he could be that explosive guy again prior to last season, I was surprised to see so many of his explosive plays garner such little attention.

He's going to run for 1,300 this year.

Very nice catch from Kenny Britt.

If he can bounce back, Tennessee could win 9 or 10 games.
 
Damn, Shonn Greene is getting his yards too and the Skins still have some starters out there.
 
Sam Bradford still on the game in the 2nd quarter.

There's been a number of starters staying in longer than usual for a first preseason game in these games tonight.

The talent isn't a problem.

It's whether the guy can bounce back after so much inactivity due to his off the field trouble.
