Heard Broaddus say on Talking Cowboys about a week ago that McClay was against taking these injury-prone "steals" in the draft and he's hoping he gets Jerry to take less gambles on them.

I think the idea is to get an unbiased opinion. Someone that strictly sees the scouting reports and puts the board together. Scouts can get too attached to their guys sometimes.

It really sums up why Jerry is such a shitty GM.

He always thinks he's getting a "steal" or has outsmarted every other GM in the NFL. Goofson is right there with him...a total dumbass.
