The "nothing is offensive" and "everyone should suck it up while people trash their religion/culture/ethnicity/whatever" annoys me, so we can schmitty on each other back and forth.

I never said nothing was offensive. I said people are too damn sensitive. A word is a damn word, and should be treated as such. What people should focus on are sentences. Like "Your religion makes you look like a weak minded weirdo."

I can see that as offensive since it is an obvious attack on your beliefs.

The word Redskin or Honky. Not so much.
 
My point is who should get to decide what is an offensive word and what isn't? If some dumb congressional bitch from Minnesota says it's offensive to use the word black do we all have to agree that this is offensive and have to start using the word dark?

I know that's a bit of a stretch, but it makes my point.
