War in Iran?

I think he is talking out his ass. If I wasn't old, I would go back today. Would love nothing more than to watch firsthand while Iran finally gets well deserved freedom again. This douchebag has obviously never been in the military, and I can pretty much assure you he wouldn't be thought very highly of if he did.

When I was a junior in high school I started getting calls from recruiters because of my ASVAB scores. I was not doing well in school though, would not have graduated in 1986 with my classmates, and most of the industry in southern Oregon was drying up. The navy recruiter told me I could enlist and get my GED and get some vocational training. I was not interested in college or tuition assistance at all.

Nobody in my family served. I saw an opportunity to get out of a dead end town and do 4 years and make my mother proud of something. I ended up in boot camp in March of 86 and arrived at my first duty station (USS Independence) that October while it was in overhaul in Philadelphia but by the grace of God hurt my knee and after a surgery and a few months of rehab a was sent to the Saratoga where I loved going to sea and working on the flight deck so at the end of my enlistment I reenlisted for 4 years and ended up staying for 24, with 17 of those years on sea duty

So I guess you could say that in MY case, what he said is partially true.

He got bodied by community notes.

"Studies debunk this lie. Data shows that U.S. military recruits disproportionately come from middle and upper-income neighborhoods, not the poorest. Pentagon surveys identify "patriotism" and "desire to serve" as the primary motivators for enlistment."

Israel doesn't fucking play, man. Half of America would be headed to the White House to lynch trump if the US had done this.

The funny part was when she asked him about disinformation in his primary loss and he mentioned the Dem misinformation campaign against him. That's when Margaret started getting uncomfortable.
