It's comical how highly they've rated Colorado in this game.

4-8 overall, 1-8 in the PAC 12 and somehow they're rated as a top 15 team in the game. They were ranked 128 out of 133 in total defense yet somehow have a top 20 defense in the game. :picard

That lets me know I'm going to have to put a lot of work in adjusting sliders before I dive into dynasty mode.
 
I just saw that Arch Manning opted in to CFB 25. He must've seen all the positive reaction from his teammates and such since they have early access.

That or they offered him twice as much as everyone else since he's a Manning.

We're 10 days from launch so I assume they're going to patch him in at some point.

Probably be a launch day patch. Easy to drop him into the roster.
 
Something tells me that despite the tremendous build up and and hundreds of thousands of gamers who are eagerly waiting for this game, EA will somehow be caught off-guard by the amount of players accessing their servers.

I fully expect their servers to crash and be unavailable for large stretches of time that first weekend.

You know the servers will crash with a bunch of not so young guys trying to whip some 10 year old ass on that game.

I can see the option game being a big deal. I do like the passing improvements where the Madden engine basically says any dipshit safety in the league can pick you off multiple times.
 
I’m a little bummed by the fact that you apparently can’t even edit non NIL players and you can’t create players in dynasty at all.

I don’t understand why you can’t edit real players anyway. You can edit real players in Madden.

I pre-ordered mine last night and I saw that you already had it. As soon as I get off Friday afternoon I'm saying my goodbyes to my family and firing up the game.

I've been reading that the FCS schools have been giving people hell. Particularly FCS Midwest. :lol

I didn't order any of the special editions because I didn't think it was worth it.

The reason why I got early access to it is because I subscribe to EA play which gives you 10 hours of Early Access to every single game they release.

It's a really good deal for only 5 bucks a month.
 
By the way, NCAA has done with this game what the Madden team couldn't do for the last 10.

The atmosphere, the realism, the presentation..... It's all just great.

I haven't put hours into a sports game since the last NCAA way back in 2013.

That streak is coming an end. :cool:
 
Here's an example of 2 real life throws you couldn't make in past EA football games due to a lack of pass trajectories and/or physics that I'm guessing were due to a lack of tech.

Anyway, I always hated how you couldn't make over the shoulder throws or hit guys in perfect stride in tight windows.

Well, in this game I've already done both and it's so rewarding.

That pass to the TE was amazing.

It was a huge 3rd down conversion too so I was super pumped.

Not only was it great to see that you could fit a pass in such a tight window but I also love how the TE catches it in perfect stride with absolutely no slowdown. That was another weird thing about EA football games in the past where the animations to catch passes would result in all types of slow down by the receiver. I hated that.

I'm really pleased so far with the gameplay.

Gotcha. I saw the early access thing with EA but didn't bother doing it.

Completely agree about the early access not being worth it. It's an extra $30 and the only extra benefit is getting 4,600 CFB points.

No thanks. I'll wait a few extra days. I've already waited 10 years for the game, 3 more days won't kill me.
