Watched the show but it wasn't near as good as Breaking Bad or Better Call Saul.
 
Fargo is moving at a very slow pace. Not that it is bad or anything, but it lacks the special edge from previous seasons.

Still masterful television, but I kind of wonder if it will pick itself up to the previous standards.

I was thinking that as well, which surprises me since they pulled together another great cast and set of characters.

I am confident they pull it together. By this point they had Billy Bob's character fleshed out and even the Indian. I am guessing the Russian tough ends up being the real heavy.

It was cool to hear Thornton as the intro voice over this week.
 
Watched my recording of The Americans tonight.

It was powerful, although it lacked a lot of action.

Kind of helped me understand where the characters are going now.

Channel 333 on DirecTV. 1/2 hr show about a disgraced MLB announcer that is trying to make a come back in the lowest levels of the minor leagues. Dude is a raging alcoholic with a lot of other issues. Pretty funny. Definitely not a show for kids. Lots of sex and drug innuendo.

As an aside, Joe Buck has been in the last two episodes. In this last one, he admits to taking a finger up his ass. Yes, the REAL Joe Buck. I was shocked... This from the guy who was outraged over Randy Moss fake mooning.

IFC is the channel. Owned by AMC. It shows movies uncut/uncensored, and has a lot of other different programming. I think it started a few months ago. At least, I only knew of it when AMC started advertising Brockmire a few months ago.

I have them as equal. Completely different type of show since The Wire is basically an anthology series in that it tackles a different social issue each season, but with the same cast. It's phenomenal.

One warning...

I didn't find it this way, but others who have started it after being told all the hype thought the first season was slow for a bit. But, they have to build not only that season's story, but each individual character in the cast and the cast is huge. I only say that to say, stick with it and you will be rewarded.
