TV Thread

Havent seen season 3 yet. Waiting for Netflix to stream it.
 
Finally watched Enter the Badlands.

It's an enjoyable watch, I was worried the plot would be lacking and it would all hinge on the fighting scenes, but the plot was ok and the acting was good enough to buy in.

I really liked the Quinn character he plays that part pretty well.

The fighting scenes are top notch and not overdone.
 
1st episode of the X-Files mini series was really bad. Haven't seen last night's yet

I have a few weeks saved up.

Oh yeah. It is provocative and compelling. The second season is good as well. It has some of the same actors but a totally new storyline. Somewhat like True Detective did. Kept the title with a new storyline.
 
Anybody watching The Expanse?

Watched a couple of episodes last night and it's not bad, kind of getting a Battlestar vibe from it.

As a sci-fi fan it's hitting all the right spots.

Yes, I like it. A very realistic portrait of our future society imo.
 
Watched the first episode of Lucifer on Fox.

S'okay.

Basically has the same formula as Sleepy Hollow has. English-type leading man with female partner, sparks occasionally fly, etc.

Some of the dialogue is pretty witty though.

I liked Sleepy Hollow the 1st season and about half way through the 2nd.

Once they started monster of the week I lost interest, Lucifer is the definition of DFP I'm surprised you are giving it a go.
 
About To finish Bloodline on Netflix streaming. Pretty good viewing.

I am also checking out Second Chance, which is another dumb frick premise.

Showtime's Nurse Jackie has been put in it's entirety on Netflix. Worth watching. Decent amount of comedy mixed with good casting and premise. I just started season 4 today and it's stayed fresh so far.

I watched the 1st 2 seasons and enjoyed them and then I gave up showtime.

Would like to catch up someday.

United States of Tara was good as well.
