I read the books which were pretty good, but I wasn't a huge fan of the ending. I DVR'ed the series, but haven't watched the first episode yet.
 
Just, finally started watching Orange is the New Black. 2 shows in. Really enjoying so far.

Almost to the end of season 1 now. I really didn't think I would like it, but it is really good.

I don't even really care about the reveal...I like all the investigation stuff and the interaction between the 2 main characters.

Yeah that was the only thing that kept me watching but the terrible overall writing and plot took everything down with it.

Its a shame because they had a lot of great acting going on, the dad was strong as well.
 
Started watching Derek, with Ricky Gervais on Netflix.

I like it.
 
Tyrant, so far it is classically decent but it definate my has the potential for greatness. The first episode was great, but the next three have just managed to keep it going, not adding much. They have the ruling family established, now I think they should work on making them 3 diminsional by showing how bad the opposition is.

It is interesting, but I wonder how much is stereotypical or really, you know, really Arabic. :unsure

I don't care how authentically Arab, as long as they make them "authentically tyrant" and make the opposition bad enough that it is not an obvious choice who to root for.
 
Tyrant will always have limitations due to the characters who are in it. The mainstream is a California family who just happens to be related to the monarchy. The story line will have to stay with them which in turn will detract from the actual system. I like it so far but it needs to have some sub plots developing.

I've resisted watching it. I really, actually refused to work in a women's penitentiary. I've heard horror stories from those places from fellow correctional officers.

I plan on jumping into season 2 this weekend. I've been finishing Breaking Bad and a few other movies in my queue so OITNB was on the back burner.

Pornstache is my boy.

I am 7 episodes in. Boringly, I kind of like Piper, she is growing on me; Taystee is entertaining, though I have a feeling and am hoping her waters run much deeper than we have seen so far.
 
Aside from Pornstache, I'm kind of partial to the crazies of the show, Doggett & Crazy eyes.

Season 2 does a good job of exploring the backgrounds of the secondary characters.
 
Bates Motel is solid...I will watch it when it comes back on.

As an aside...Gotham is going to be on Mondays...dumb move by Fox to put it on against MNF.
