Well of course but it's much cheaper and it's not streaming so that's not what I think we're referring to here. I actually like it much better than cable.

Yep. The third one was horrendous and it felt like they tried to turn it into an action movie, which violated the spirit of the original.

Yeah, he plays one of the brothers that are at the center of the show. The other brother is Peter Krause (think he's currently playing a fire chief in 911 or something, was also in Sports Night.)

I might watch one here and there, but the act of popping a Blu Ray in means commitment.

If I started that, I would have to have the Steve Austin action figure, some Pixie Sticks, a bunch of Taco flavor Doritos and a case of Fudgsicles.

Better picture quality, obviously, but the Time-Life set had more extras. For instance, the Majors interview doesn't appear on the blu-ray set.
