TV Thread

I don’t participate much in the the TV and Movie threads, but have to admit I’ve been binge watching Suits since it hit Netflix. And damn, Markel is an ugly bitch.

Jennifer Jason Leigh is still excellent. And this might be a vehicle that Jon Hamm can make a comeback.

There is something that Jennifer is trying to do with her accent that is just off, though. Great acting but that accent bothers me.

True, it is not on point but once you get past it, she does a credible job.

Never cared for her but the woman that plays Donna. Oh my.

If you've ever seen the Hudsucker Proxy (Coen Brothers, Tim Robbins etc.) she sounds exactly like the character she played in that. It was a weird accent back then and hasn't improved since.

She also had a similar accent in Atypical.
 
The ditzy wife has a nice little ass, but those are dangerously close to granny panties.

Absolutely. She’s a hottie especially for being a redhead.
 
Episode 2 introduced Jon Hamm's character and the show is well on its way to being very good.

Wait, we are talking about two different people. Jennifer Jason Leigh is who you are referring to. I was talking about Temple trying to pull off the midwestern accent.

I like the idea of a series based on Fallout.

But if the lead is a chick (as the poster implies) it honestly kills just about any enthusiasm I'd have for it.

Hollywood really needs to get over this obsession they have with pretending women are something they're not.

I never played the game, but my son has. He is all jacked up. The explanation I got is that in one of the games the character has a male and a female variant.

That's true... but I get it for the game. Because you want both genders to be into playing the game.
