The guy is a fricking cyborg or something.

It's just unreal what he does.

He had no sacks, no tackles for loss, and no batted passes against us.

I'm willing to bet that when this season is over, it'll be the only game where that happens.

He's good, and Luck is flat-out drilling the ball to him. Hilton is covered but if he's leading his guy at all Luck has been snapping the ball into his hands in stride. That kind of accuracy is awesome. Reminds me of Aaron Rodgers.

There hasn't been a more impactful single defensive player. Some may have been equal at times, but none have been better. He's both immovable and athletic against the run, rushes the passer + swats and intercepts passes in pass defense, draws double teams, and both forces and returns fumbles. And he does each of the above at a high level.

It's ridiculous. LT, Reggie White, Ronnie Lott, and Deion only did portions of what Watt's doing. And all of this against modern offensive lines.

If Watt keeps this up, there is no other NFL defender who can compare. In his fourth year Watt has already equaled the number of defensive touchdowns LT achieved in his 13 season career.

And with JJ Watt, he doesn't have the supporting cast others did - no Seth Joyner, pepper Johnson, Carl banks, cornelius bennett, Neil smith, Et al.

watt has Brian Cushing and that's about it.

Bruce Smith dominated from the 3-4 DE position. That's the only comparable guy I can think of. And if you're on the same level as Bruce Smith you're a damned football god. (IMO, he was a lot better than Reggie White on a much less talented Bills D, White's Eagles D was stacked to the roof and the Packers D was still more talented than the Bills).

The Philly D with White and Brown could possibly be the most talented ever, the Packers never fielded anything close to that talent wise.
