That some of the drugs they test for have absolutely nothing to do with performance enhancement. Pot being the one that stands out the most.

There are different areas to the league's drug testing policy. Performance enhancing is one. Illicit drugs is another. Until MDMA and pot is no longer illegal, it will be banned by the league.

I know the rules are the rules, but I don't have to agree with them.

It doesn't have to be enhancing to be on the list. Anything the league says is prohibited is subject to being tested.
