The whole concept of rent control is a play on this. Why should rent for the same apartment be if a couple or a dozen people are in it?

If I had to pay $5k a month for rent, I would puke on my shoes.
 
Can't help but be cynical these days, but wonder if some loon thought this would somehow help them win Maine with Platner crashing and burning.
