Big city populations have more of a hive mentality versus independent. That's why rural and conservative peeps hate any government involvement. They are used to being left alone to run their lives. The people that live in these huge metropolis areas come to rely more on infrastructure (government) involvement in their lives to go about their daily routine.This is true, and the more I think about it, it's very strange.
His is weird because he was elected as a Democrat and just a year or two ago changed while already in office. I never looked into that whole story but obviously it was just some PR move.I just looked it up and apparently the mayor of Dallas is Republican. That would I assume be the largest city and obviously it's one of the biggest cities generally in the country.
