Also? That's what it comes down to? Who cares if they are sweeping up American citizens mistakenly, shooting people dead who are not a threat to them, as long as they are getting a few of the worst of the worst, whatever happens, happens.

Have you noticed that in both of these events, Kristi Noem and the DHS have put out their story before finding out there is video out that contradicts much of their narrative?

What percentage of Americans are being "swept up" accidentally?

What percentage of people are being shot dead?

The first two you act like are happening all the time and in large numbers. The third you act like isn't happening often when it is. Come on, man.

56 and 2. Those two numbers are important for you to be able to defend this insane argument. You have to be able to defend the 56 if you are going to cry about the 2.

56 is how many people died during the deportation efforts of the Deporter in Chief. 2 is how many have died during Trump's.

Is there an acceptable "percentage" now?

The fact is that this would not be happening if these goons were not poorly trained or being told by the Vice President of all people that they have "absolute immunity" in carrying out their jobs.

Okay, some more fun numbers to play with. 4,000 and 170. There were 4,000 wrongfully detained citizens in 2010 versus 170 in 2025. But, orange man bad, amirite?

Yes there is, unfortunately. Because it's a dangerous job and people aren't perfect and make mistakes, especially when under extreme stress.

What is your alternative? Just stop altogether? That's one step from "Abolish the police."

And neither of these mistakes would have happened if Lefty loons weren't harassing and impeding them.

Anyway, we can have a conversation, but if you can't be reasonable about it I'm not in the mood for this today.
 
I'm not saying abolish the police, I don't know where you are getting this from.

Fact: These agents have had their training pretty much cut in half and let loose to do whatever they feel like, even if it's shoving some lady out of the way because she's shouting at them or taking pictures. To these weak-minded fools, she's harassing them and needed to be put in her place.

Fact: The VP and Stephen Miller have both told them that they can conduct their operations with impunity, which is a recipe for disaster.

Fact: The DHS, Bovino, and Noem have come out with their own story immediately that is contradicted by every visual record of the event, to the point where Bovino was made to look like a fool by of all people Margret Brennan yesterday.

The DHS is a fucking clown show right now, end of story. Any good work they are doing is being overshadowed by the idiocy that starts from the top.

But I did read a story not long ago about posts from supposed Americans spewing misinformation that were actually coming from SW Asia, eastern Europe, and Russia ever since there was a setting they changed where you could see where the post was actually coming from in the world.
