I have been wanting a good hunting rifle and a good carry piece and these two deals took care of both those things and were way too good of a deal to pass up.
 
My gf deflects them with her bracelets. Jealous?
 
I am down to one firearm weapon. It’s a single action Ruger western style with a changeable cylinder for 22 regular/ longs or 22 magnum which is how I keep it for use. I have one box of magnum shells period. If that is used up I may just put a Bat under the bed and revert to bungy combat. :viking

Whats better than fishing and hunting? Hunting big-game fish. Rock a stuffed killer whale over the fireplace. That’ll close some sales deals for sure.
 
So, now that I will have me a .308, I need suggestions for a good scope. I’m not sure I want to spring for something as expensive as a Leopold but I would like something nice.

Low end is 200.00 high end is 2500.00. They have some really nice stuff in the 300-750.00 range.

Holy hell. I have never priced scopes before, obviously, because that seems high.
