The Great Amigo Thread...

I want to shut up every NFL team who passed on La'El Collins and let him land right in our greedy little laps. I want him to be able to say, "I told you we were going to be great. I told they'd be talking about this for 40 years."
Besides all of the other stupidity, this stuck out. Uh, we passed on Collins just like everyone else did. Just because we were fortunate enough to sign him as a UDFA doesn't mean other teams weren't trying. I've seen reports that at least 25 other teams had called and expressed interest in signing him. But I guess admitting that wouldn't help the romance of the story along.

This was after he posted a shitload of articles and different scenarios on how to bring Adrian Peterson to Dallas.

I meant last night's string of articles. You think I'm done?

Brimstone's got a bone to chew on.

And somebody said a while back that his passion for Peterson was burning like fire and brimstone. Another of his nut huggers said brimstone would make for a good nickname. Apparently, he agrees... :lol

Can you use brimstone to sharpen a knife?

More like dimstone. Nome sayin'?

Hahahahahahahahah

I thought you had made peace with the fact that "teh funneh" had left you...
Please stop trying.

I will persevere to the end! You nor anyone else will stand in my way!

I like Broaddus for his assessments of players, games and such but his prediction skills are suspect.

I remain at 90% sure this trade will happen.

Can you at least give a timeline?

Hostile said:
Not without some serious guessing involved, which I have been trying to avoid on this.

I will say this though. Dez's contract and Carr's playing status will be decided first. Once those are done, I expect movement fast.

Hey Hos, is that why Dez was at VR today and the FO is making it priority to restructure Carr and Oscan contract?

Hostile said:
I think that is a pretty good assumption.

Theogt said:
The Vikings will not trade him. They are firmly convinced that they can win a Super Bowl this year given the way that their QB played toward the end of last season. Peterson helps make that possible and trading him pretty much makes the playoffs look unlikely. The Vikings GM has said that people might as well put the story behind them because it ain't happening. So it'd be good if people would just move past it (I know they won't, but there's zero percent chance of a trade). The only thing that might persuade them otherwise is a multi first round pick offer, which is beyond stupid for a 30+ year old player of any caliber.

PullMyFinger said:
Are you reading this Hos? Here's a percentage for you, there's a 99% chance the RB for this season is already on the roster. Im ready to roll with Randal, Ive heard several reports that he ran better than Murry last season even with his limited carries.

Hostile said:
Yeah. I stand by what I am telling this forum.

Yes, Broadus might be the worst media person out there in terms of predictions. Is he still predicting that Marinelli is going to Tampa? :lol

Hostile said:
For the record, even when Jerry's plane was in Tampa I told you all that Jon Gruden was not replacing Jason Garrett. For the record, even when every bit of speculation was running amok that Marinelli was headed to Tampa Bay to be with Lovie I said he was staying.

There is serious interest in Adrian Peterson, and the Dallas Cowboys are going to make a charge at getting him, and it could only get derailed by a stupid stance by the Vikings. I doubt they are going to be that stupid. I am stating that for the record. Everyone else is reporting it is impossible. They also said it was a dead issue when a trade didn't happen at the Draft. Same people who said we were taking a RB, and I said we weren't. Doesn't seem so dead to me, just as I said, for the record.

Keep that in mind for the future. Or don't. Entirely up to you. No skin off my nose if people choose to pay more attention to others. I know I am right.

I think that is a pretty good assumption.

:lol

Meanwhile, Dez was tweeting shit at 5PM CST taking pics with some numbnut fan at a local GNC.

But hey, he was there, getting his contract shit square so we can pull off this mega-trade.

I'm 90% sure Hostile fucks his mom.

Was there even a Gruden replacing Garrett rumor going?

...and where did he state that we weren't drafting an RB?

I know he said we wouldn't draft one because he was 90% sure we're getting AP, but this claim is contingent on AP coming to fruition.

I'm quite sure he stated that we would draft a RB if a certain one, Gordon or gurley IIRC, were available at 27.

Classic case of covering all your bases.

We are at my daughter's High school graduation, and we learned that her Dad passed away about 45 minutes ago. So he graduated too.

My wife is a wonderful person. Bittersweet night for us.

I will remove this later.

My graduate.

You'd think he could have at least worn a Tshirt with no stains on it for his kid's graduation.

I thought he had a super hot wife.

Maybe she left when she found out her dad past and he just had to get an ugly stand in for the pic?

Felix wore #28.

Adrian Peterson wears #28.

Foreshadowing? I think so.

I am good with leaving no stone unturned, and when we discover moss under the vast majority of them, we go get the polished one aching to be mounted in a crown.
SDogo said:
Lmao...I can not wait till Peterson shows up at Vikes camp so we can end all this.
Hostile said:
Love ya man, but if you think it ends it you're simply wrong.

Oh, and he won't show up.
SDogo said:
I think your push is a year early
Hostile said:
I don't. I know for a fact that inside VR the desire to acquire him is very real and only the Vikings could screw this up and I don't think they ultimately will.

Here are the main two reasons why I want Adrian Peterson.

Those two men deserve at least one Super Bowl ring. Acquiring Peterson makes that a virtual lock. I pay any price for that ring. Only one piece is missing. He is that one piece. I am convinced of it.

Seems below the belt to ridicule a man's family.

It is below the belt, but he used to brag about how hot she was.

In the Great Amigo Thread, we pull no punches.

He really should consider not putting all of his personal shit out there for the whole world to see.
