He is a narcissistic compulsive liar with a superhero complex. He was a mod at the zone because Booze decided to endorse him.
Basically, blame Booze for this thread.
This was before he was exposed as a fraud!

In fairness to booze, he wasn't nearly the tool he turned into later on.
Beat it, old timer...this don't concern you!
You keep on with the yippin and yappin and ol' Johnny's gonna give you a good what for!!

Grand Theft Linebacker is coming back. He and Lee on the field at the same time will be sick.
WeDemBoys2014 said:Fisher is such a tool. I cant stand this idiot anymore.
Hostile said:He remains the guy I trust the most in all the DFW media.
WeDemBoys2014 said:He's always flip flopping and making snotty little remarks. Sorry man, but just comes of as unprofessional.
Hostile said:On Twitter, yes he gets snotty. I love some of the snotty stuff though. It has been funny.
But he never falls for the sensationalist stuff and I find that refreshing. Whether it is his articles or his podcasts, he speaks his mind without going all hyperbole.
I don't think he has flip flopped so much as he has reported the rumor of the moment. For example, he has maintained all along that AD might end up here and that Dallas can afford him. But he also reports that Dallas isn't pursuing AD. That is correct. They are not out there trying to work a deal right now. If he gets released, Fish knows we're immediately players which is why he continues to remind.
When everyone was freaking out that Hardy left VR without a deal, he was the one guy who said a deal was still going to happen, and it was, and it did. he never freaked out of the Tampa joining the fray.
He continues to say the Cowboys want McClain back, but the sides are far apart on money.
He may not be your cup of tea, and that is fine. But never discount him. He is more plugged in than most of these other guys because he actually has a friendship with Garrett, Stephen, and the other power brokers whereas some of them merely spout opinion all the time and try to get sensational.
He's the guy who stood up to Dale Hansen after his holier than thou Hardy rant.
I like him. I just wish he'd put me in contact with Jason Garrett.
Oh, and wtf does "I really wish he would put me in contact with Jason Garrett" mean?
Cobra said:Sadly, this is Jerry's life now. He drinks way too much, way too late at the ritzy bars in Dallas. The family tries to protect him and pretend all is well, but that is why Stephen is taking a larger role.
Dallas said:Give me break. I am normally with you but when it comes to something so personal as how you are judging Jerry Jones, I will pass.
No offense but it's his life and if his family doesn't involve themselves or feel it is a burden then nobody else should.
How do you know this is why Stephen is taking a larger role? You don't know that for a fact so how can you state it like fact?
Again not to be offensive but I just don't understand sitting and judging like we do.
Cobra said:Look, I never dog Jerry, so this isn't some anti-Jerry crap. I don't ever claim to be an insider or have knowledge about personnel decisions. But in the circles I run in, I know a fair bit about Jerry socially and the Jones family dynamics. Moreover, as Hostile can confirm, I have both sued Jerry (and actually suing a team member right now) and represented people employed by the team (I represent 2 right now). In that, I know a fair amount about the internal operation of the team and Jerry's role and level of involvement.
It's not my intention to get into detail about any of that, and I don't ask you to believe me. But please don't suggest that I am idly slandering the guy without cause. This isn't about how he runs the team. Rather, I stated a concern over an issue that I believe I have a basis for expressing. Yes, it's Jerry's life to do as he pleases; he's earned it. But I have the right to state that I find certain choices regrettable.
Hostile said:I can indeed confirm this.
DandyDon1722 said:I find all of this fascinating and I'm continually blown away by some of the posters here and their access/dealings/relationships with the team. It adds so much credibility.
I am currently employed on a project by another NFL Team and have had some very interesting conference calls that often involve references to the Cowboys. I'm talking about people at the very top of the organization. All I can tell you is that the jealousy and contempt for who we are is staggering. Of course these people do not know I'm a life long fan and all the time I'm stifling my delight in their angst, but it makes me think about if this is coming from this team - I wonder what it's like with Mara and the Giants (not my client).
I so hope Cobra is right and truly has insight.
Hos, well, he can GFH.
Insiders now are guys who are suing the team.
Holy fucking shit.
In regards to Hardy signing.
I'm curious as to why he's sued jerry, and is currently suing a player.
just wow.Odd group of players considering almost none of them will probably be on the team next year.
