I don't think he has flip flopped so much as he has reported the rumor of the moment. For example, he has maintained all along that AD might end up here and that Dallas can afford him. But he also reports that Dallas isn't pursuing AD. That is correct. They are not out there trying to work a deal right now. If he gets released, Fish knows we're immediately players which is why he continues to remind.

When everyone was freaking out that Hardy left VR without a deal, he was the one guy who said a deal was still going to happen, and it was, and it did. he never freaked out of the Tampa joining the fray.

He continues to say the Cowboys want McClain back, but the sides are far apart on money.

He may not be your cup of tea, and that is fine. But never discount him. He is more plugged in than most of these other guys because he actually has a friendship with Garrett, Stephen, and the other power brokers whereas some of them merely spout opinion all the time and try to get sensational.

He's the guy who stood up to Dale Hansen after his holier than thou Hardy rant.

I like him. I just wish he'd put me in contact with Jason Garrett.

Fisher was the one that said that we weren't going to sign Hardy. Yeah, he's really tuned in. And, that whole "reporting the rumor of the moment" crap? He had one of his minions write an article on NO WAY Hardy was coming to Dallas when no one else was even hinting about it. Yeah...

I like how his minions pick and choose what to praise him on and what to ignore.

And the Hardy thing wasn't some revelation, everyone with hand a brain knew we'd show some interest because the move made a lot of sense for us. Same thing with Peterson, but I bet he takes credit for that too if AP becomes a Cowboy.
