Why in the absolute fuck would we allow them to own ANY fucking land here much less land that is adjacent to a military installation? Where's the common sense? If I didn't know any better, I'd say most of our government is setting us up for failure.
 
I've been studying WW2 lately and one thing has stood out to me that would make any war with China basically unwinnable.

Capacity.

When both sides start taking losses, who has the capacity to replace AND grow like we did in WW2?

Not us anymore since we've basically outsourced our industrial might to the fuckin enemy so retards in pajamas can go to Walmart for cheap goods.

I was about to say the same thing, but he is right.

We started to become a country of red tape as well, growing the government into the monstrosity it is today.

Just because one thinks Trump is a fucking disaster, it doesn't relegate one to a wing. Anyone who follows any party orthodoxy to the letter is pretty much a fucking retard to me. Don't be a policy box checker.

War with China, most likely over Taiwan, will be a watershed moment in world history.

Quite frankly, we could find ourselves relegated to second tier power status as the UK was after WW2.

The dollar no longer the world's reserve currency.

Manufacturing base proven insufficient to project world power.

US bases around the world start to close, de facto American Empire contracts as the world moves toward its new super power.

And we'll only have ourselves to blame.

Ruinous tax policy

Unfettered greed and corruption

Complacency, laziness, awful education system, moral decay......all you need to confirm this is turn on the TV or computer and get bombarded with gambling ads.

Personally, I find it hard to believe that our government has fucked up so badly that our society and quality of life depends on fucking chips from what is a Chinese province under the One China Principle that we agreed to in the 70s.

Of course he's right. Remember during Covid when we couldn't get certain medications and PPE because they were all made in China and they were keeping them all for themselves?

I'm just surprised he's saying it, because back then if you said that, it was racist/nationalist/jingoist or something something right wing.

I got in trouble for leaning over and popping someone with my mask like it was a rubberband in a meeting one day. Half the women at the table freaked out. I must admit they did well with the fear mongering back then. Too well for some slackjaws.

If I were your HR overseer, I would laugh my ass off but be forced to deliver you a high level of accountability for your infraction.
 
When the shot came out, they started going around our morning meetings to ask who had taken the shot.

I ended up being the only one of our team of 20 not to get it but they kept pestering me to.

I was ready to fight, so HR could have kissed my ass if they tried to say shit about the Kung Flu.
