Yeah I'm actually pretty pumped. My dad really wasn't involved in any sports stuff I did as a kid so I'm pretty excited to be able to work with my son.

It will be a great bonding experience. My dad coached Little League for several years and those were some good times.

Mine too, and I hated it. He always made me play catcher because I was the only one that could catch one of our pitchers. I hated playing catcher. But, in all seriousness, CRock, that is badass, man. Your son will never forget those games and practices.

I would imagine it is very frustrating. But, to get to coach your kid would make it well worth it.

Yeah it won't be. But I'm also the parent that gets frustrated just sitting and watching. So might as well be out there.

My dad coached my little league team for a year even though he was in the air conditioning business. We wouldn't have practice until early evening and still he would be late showing up because of business. He loved it but just couldn't keep that schedule after the first year because it was too much.
