The Dur thread.

Front yard? Maybe for Milti. That looks more like a school to me.

At least he had the manners to throw the bowl away when he was done. :unsure

I saw people on X berating him because he didn't defend his children but I think he did the right thing. Get them out of the way and try to diffuse the situation. What if you started fighting him and he pulled a fucking knife out? Way too dangerous.

Yeah, I mean how many times do you see a story about a mentally ill homeless person stabbing someone on a subway or something like that? Those aren't the actions of someone who is mentally all there. I'd be cautious about it as well. Besides, beating that guys ass isn't going to teach him anything, he is clearly mentally gone and isn't going to process things like a normal person.

Getting his children away from the guy in this situation really is defending them.

...
Eh I have no problem with this. I mean I'd never have the balls to do it. But they didn't harm anyone.

Anything they do just comes off as so performative. Otherwise, I don't care.

It is, and no you don't need to care. I don't care beyond I can't imagine what it takes to pull something like that off.

Eh, live and let live. So long as they didn't put anyone besides themselves in danger, folks like this make life interesting.

Hopefully the outcome will be sharpened security protocols for not only that building but possibly many others worldwide. In that case, a greater net positive I'd say.

They made a bunch of first responders and whatever show up. That requires accountability and stuff.
