Tipping has gotten out of control. Now you can't do anything without a tip line at the bottom pressuring you. Maybe my parents were just assholes but I feel like when I was younger 12% tip was normal. Now it's like if you aren't tipping 20+% you're an asshole. Tips were meant to show appreciation. But now it feels like tips are just to prevent people from thinking you're a dick.

You get takeout? Now I feel like I'm supposed to tip. Hell anytime there is a tip line I feel like I'm expected to tip. Doesn't matter where or what I'm spending money on.
