I'll never ever forget what they did.
I didn't get to go into the building where my wife was having complete reconstructive surgery on her shoulder. I had to go home and wait for them to call me to go pick her up like she was at the fucking dog groomers.
I didn't get to see my uncle before he died. "No more than two people in the room at a time" He was in the hospital for a month and I never once was able to see him.
I watched the hospital my father in law was in kill him right before our own eyes. I got to see him once. And, as cruel fate would have it, I got the news about my uncle while in the room with him the one time I got to see him.
My son didn't get to go to his senior prom. He didn't get to experience college like normal because all of his classes his freshman year were online. His High school graduation was delayed a month before they finally let them walk the stage, and even then they didn't actually walk the stage. The diplomas were sent IN THE MAIL because they wanted to "limit exposure".
I will never forget.
