The Beer Thread

We drank a metric shit-ton of budweiser when I was growing up.

The boonesfarm and winecoolers were for the chicks. A bottle of strawberry boonesfarm and a mixed tape of Journey, Bon Jovi, White Snake, etc... ballads was pretty much a guarantee you were gonna get lucky.
We drank lots of beer, too. Most of the time we were drinking Miller Genuine Draft, Natty Light, and Bud Ice. Lots of Colt 45 and 8 ball as well.

Fucking 8 ball. My god what an atrocity that was.

I miss the 80s. But I don’t miss being that age. I don’t want to replay what I have been through. :lol

Yous guys are ancient.

I partied hard in the early 90s.

Night Train. Some black dude on my HS football team brought a bottle into the locker room before our valley championship game.

I remember it tasting good. Not even sure what it is. Wine or malt liquor? I don’t know.

In the early to late 90s I didn’t drink hardly at all. Unless you count mushrooms boiled in Jack Daniels. :unsure

Sounds like a scene from Dazed and Confused.

Holy shit. Thunderbird and Gold Bell were about the cheapest, nastiest wine you could get. Literally made and immediately bottled for sale. Zero aging process. It's what the winos on the rez I grew up on drank. About 3 bucks for a fifth. Made their noses huge and a nice shiny red.

How's your schnozz looking, sheiky baby?

What was it liking growing up on a reservation? Was it much different than growing up in a normal city? I’m genuinely curious.

I edited my post. It was actually Night Train.

I googled it, it apparently had a grape flavor. I remember it tasting really nice compared to some of the shit we drank as kids.

Not as different as you'd think. There was some minor things, but not really much that would shock anybody.
