Up until a couple years ago, you can't buy beer at all on Sundays in Georgia.

Now they leave it up to each county to vote on it. My little podunk county is all "hell nah!"

That's how it is here too. If you want beer before noon kickoff games on Sunday, then you better go get your beer on Saturday night.

Check out the old Blue Laws. You couldn't buy toys on Sundays all the way up until the 80s.
 
Some parts of Mexico you can't buy booze after 5pm on sundays, I guess they don't want the workers to get too drunk and miss work on mondays...
