Actually, I'm advocating against the use of electric vehicles. There have been studies done that negate the claim that electric vehicles are less impactful on the environment. With the production of the batteries over the life of an electric vehicle it's equals to roughly the same carbon emissions as a gasoline powered vehicle.

I got you, NoDak.

So, everybody, consolidation and multiple-functionality is what the market wants. The smartphone has combined the functions of different devices into one.

With that being said, I've got it where my daily shit acts as my morning alarm clock, every day -- body wakes up naturally and isn't jolted by an unpleasant alarm noise, doesn't wake up the wifey, I get my daily shit out of the way and the sense of accomplishment starts your day off right.
 
Started a new job yesterday and they provided a MacBook Air.

After one day, I don't think I can ever go back to a non-ultrabook, or PC for that matter.

Historically, I've spent about $600 for laptops, but I would now splurge and spend the ~$1300 for the Air.
