Test...

I recently purchased a dutch oven, but have only fried chicken wings and fries in it.

Looking forward to trying out my chili recipe in there.

Anyone with experience?
 
Why only since 1990? Especially since it is held up as GOAT.

But anyway, just off the top of my head from 1990 on... Something About Mary, Hangover, Happy Gilmore, Tommy Boy, American Pie.

I'm not arguing Dumb and Dumber isn't a great movie. It is. But imo, there are plenty just as good.

Hangover is overrated more than Dumb and Dumber, IMO. Dumb and Dumber has so many one liners that the writing is brilliant. Hangover is just a few funny scenarios and physical comedy.

Maybe so. But I don't recall Hangover being touted as the GOAT. D&D probably is the better movie. But GOAT? That's why I said it's overrated, not because it isn't a great movie.

Went to the movies yesterday and saw a trailer for another Stallone boxing flick.

Stallone vs. DeNiro as two geriatric fighters finally getting into the ring 30 years later to have their rematch.

Pass.

Stallone must be funding these movies himself.

There were tons of people calling the Hangover the GOAT after it came out. Maybe not so much anymore since the sequals are garbage, but people were at the time.

Great movie. But the cutoff was 1990 for some strange reason. Harlem Nights another great movie that just missed the cut. Sorry.

Great movie, no doubt. I liked The Golden Child as well.

American Pie was an excellent comedy.

I think it was better than Dumb and Dumber.

Easily a top 3 all time. That was the pinnacle of Eddie Murphy in his prime.

There are so many classic scenes and lines from that movie that are still funny to this day.
 
Wet Hot American Summer needs to be on the list somewhere

I wasn't claiming all of them were better. Just naming some off the top of my head (after 1990) that would be in the discussion of a movie on par.

Off that list, I would say Something About Mary and American Pie were both better than Dumb and Dumber.
 
Just One of the Guys and Better off Dead are classics too.
