And picking him and Eminem over H&O deserves some serious side eye.:lol

I will say the rest are somewhat debatable and maybe a regional thing but my family loved Tom Jones and they are originally from Oklahoma and moved to California.

Simply Red and Phil Collins got the screw treatment so I beg to differ.:geek

Not black, but I can't imagine a world where Eminem isn't on the ballot for inclusion.

Not just the voice, but his music was soulful too.

The guy was on Motown records and sang duets with Aretha Franklin and Patti Labelle for crying out loud. :lol

I may not be in position to officially induct him, but I can't see how anyone would question his credentials.

I admit I'm not very familiar with Winehouse. I'll have to review her work. The only song that I remember was the "Rehab" song.

Huge props on the Teena Marie recommendation though. She's first ballot material.

They get in no doubt, I would actually put them in over Eminem.

I like and respect Eminem as an artist but I like to listen to the Beastie Boys stuff way more.

Eminem is one of the rappers I like in a rotation but I have never wanted to listen to just his stuff.

I think you and I just became BFFs. I'm a huge Beasties fan. Quick needless info, did you know that their very first album was actually a punk album called Egg Raid on Mojo? It was terrible. :lol

I knew they started as punk rockers but never listened to their stuff.

Rick Rubin is a 1st ballot as well.
 
I don't know if it's temporary or what, but they've finally unblocked YouTube on our office internet network :towel

I've had access for about 24 hours now. I haven't spread the word to others because I've learned that having too many people involved can often times ruin a good thing. Some people don't know how to sham properly. They go overboard and ruin it for everyone else.

So I'm going to keep this to myself.
