Jesus. I don't know where you are referring to exactly but that word very much describes exactly where I live. Do you have a link? I hadn't even heard, but I took a nap after getting home from work. It would be not surprising if I knew some of the people at this meeting, depending on what township.

I was wondering if you lived near there. It is messed up you wouldn't think that would happen at a township meeting. My wife thought those meetings, school board meetings etc had security and metal detectors. More often then not small townships, districts and boroughs can't afford those things and don't think anything like that well happen. Is that a crime heavy area? I'm not familiar with it.

Yeah, I'm like 15 minutes from where this happened, but it's in the same county.

Apparently he shot through the wall with a rifle with a scope. So I'm not sure if he was necessarily IN the building. 2 dead, 4 injured, like I said, I definitely know (as an acquaintance, not a friend) that township's solicitor (attorney), I wonder if he was there, hope he wasn't hurt.

It's not a "heavy" crime area, but probably is compared to the number of people who live there, per capita, it's worse than normal. A lot of scumbags from NY come down and cross over the PA/NJ border and the county I live in is the first one across the border so it gets settled with those trashy types looking to escape NY/NJ prices... but they bring their problems with them and then commute to the city every day and cause trouble here the rest of the time.

But in this case, it was a guy who had a feud with the township about his property, allegedly. Something about they condemned his land and then threw him off it. Apparently he went nuts tonite and took it out on them.
 
Wow. They said on WBRE he was in the hospital too, but wasn't sure if he shot himself or the police got him.

Maybe someone at the meeting had a gun and shot back. Wouldn't be unlikely up here, haha. 3 dead now btw.
