Test...

You didn't do it and set up a camera. That's what makes you an asshole

Reminds me of a video (was it already posted in DCC?) where a guy baits teenage girls into his van by befriending them on social media. The girls lie to parents to meet the guy, or while parents are gone. Girls enter the van upon this first face-to-face meeting. At the end, the parents are in the van and just a whole emotional mess ensues.

Well, that sounds terrible.

Don't ask retardical questions if you can't handle the truth, asshole!

Oh, I can handle the truth. Trust you me. It just hurts, is all.

Headed to Portland. Anything there I just have to see before I leave?

I laugh at people in the office who try to low-key boast about working extra hours and working over the weekend, especially when they're doing it without receiving extra pay.

We have this one lady that works with us who's always randomly dropping comments like:

"Hey, we missed you this weekend." or Last night when I left at 8......

I always say, "You know what I did last night/over the weekend? I went out and had fun. I caught a movie, played some video games with my kids, went out and had a nice meal at a nice new restaurant, and watched sports with my friends.

She just smiles, but behind that smile I know she's saying "PISS OFF".

I hate people like that.

I work evenings and weekends a lot, and never say a peep about it.

Some folks act like they saved a guy jumping off a bridge when they stay over an hour or so. GTFO, it's your goddamn job! Do you want a pat on the fucking back?

I don't do that but I will take a pat on the back.

If the job is a 40-50 a week workload and people are working 60-70 hours to do it, that just means they are inefficient or if paid hourly, milking it.

I tend to agree if they are line employees but I f they are salaried they are either inefficient, have too heavy a work load or just want to avoid going home.

There were plenty of times at my previous assignments that I went in on Saturdays or stayed at work late in order to make sure tasks were done right and on time. But I damn sure wasn't walking around dry-bragging about it.

Here's the other thing. She absolutely does not have to work those extra 2-3 hours per day. She does it by choice.

The Department Head heads home well before 5 every day and so does everyone else in the section.

I think it probably has a lot to do with her not wanting to go home. She's single and has no kids. But even with that being the case, you'd think that with all the recreational activities that are available here in Miami that putting in extra hours at the office would be the last thing she'd want to do.
