I'm on well water now. I have been watering the shit out of my land. With piss and water.
 
Speaking of grass, I rode my lawnmower down to a neighbor near us. It was freeing riding a lawn mower down a county road with a cooler in tow.
 
I have paradise trees all over my place. They are a pain in the ass. I bet there are 30 of them. Went this last weekend and bought a new chainsaw. Some of them sumbitches are coming down this weekend, and they don't even know it yet.

Reminds me of the day I moved to an acreage 45 years ago. After 20 years I was relieved to get a transfer and find a bigger house with less land. Children were already out of the house by then so the acreage only represented work by that time. You will enjoy the great outdoors for quite a while then after so many years you will ponder getting a less work residence and the words of old L.T.

Oh, I'm quite sure you're right. But, for now, even as much work as it is, I'm loving the hell out of it.
