BTW, [MENTION=141]jsmith6919[/MENTION], I was in Kyle Field yesterday. The conference that I'm at is in College Station and being hosted by A&M. Holy shit that stadium is huge.

The facilities are more than top notch though. By far superior than most.

Let me tell you something, this has been the best, safest experience that I could have ever imagined. I'd easily go to jail over this of I had to. The alternative is taking pain pills and anxiety pills for 6 months. Marijuana is many good things:

1. Instant
2. Safe - the side effects are minimal. Smoking daily is slightly harmful but it is easy to overcome by not smoking for a short period. Those effects are related to the lungs.
3. Easily controllable. It only lasts 2-3 hours which means that she can push through some pain and go to a kids even or something. Then get home and instantly get relief.
4. Nausea cure. This is very very important. She can't eat which is a bad idea over a period of time. Proper nutrition is essential to healing
5. Non-addictive. Pain medication has worn the highest addictive qualities over almost all other drugs. The side effects are extremely dangerous and relapse is very very high. Marijuana does not pose these risks
6. Anxiety. Chronic illness and pain causes all sorts of things. Weed is a wonderful cure. My wife absolutely deserves to sit and enjoy a movie with me or talk to the kids without being overcome by doom.
I could go on and on. I'd advocate for legalization every single day.

I just did a paper for school on Federalism and marijuana. I heartily concur it should be legalized for medical use, but still not for recreational use. The story of how it became illegal to prescribe it is just dumb.
 
Weed is really expensive and potent these days. I'm not into it really but it's a shame that I had to buy it this way for my wife.
