Two consecutive memes in a span of almost a full week.

Yup, secretariat is beyond our vision.
 
So, we are buying our first new house. We hadn't already bought one because I kept getting job offers and didn't want to buy and then turn around and have to sell it again. The place we have found (and had our offer accepted) is out in the country. It sits on an acre of land and has a big barn on the property as well. The house had been completely redone inside and out. Brand new roof, siding, flooring, bathrooms, kitchen (including brand new dishwasher and stove), and a new addition that added a room and a big utility room.

No real point to this story except to say I'm scared shitless right now.

I'm one of the few gas users on here, and even I will admit I prefer charcoal. You want a debate you have to pick something actually controversial like pop vs soda vs coke.

It's about 10 minutes further than our commute now. We got really lucky with this house. The realtor we just happened to choose just happened to know the guy redoing this house and he also just happened to have 96 acres near this house and his house is about a quarter mile away. Since he knows all the people in the area we had a bit of an advantage over other people looking at the house. Anyway, CSB.

I had an awesome burger at a place in San Diego the other day. It is a local chain called Slater's 50/50.

All of their burgers are half beef and half bacon or bison.

I had a bison burger once at Don Shula's restaraunt in Ft Lauderdale. It was delicious.
