Yes. My wife is lactose intolerant and she can eat/drink dairy with pills. They are called Lactaid. I believe there are generics too.

I should add my wife generally can tolerate cheese naturally, she just has trouble with milk, cream and ice cream. In other words, she's not a severe case so your mileage may vary.

Well, that's good news at least. I'm not 100% sure I'm LI but if I am at least I have that to keep my spirits up.
