With the exception of the last two seasons at Killeen high it hasn't helped for several years now.

They dominate at youth football. All I remember from a few years back is my white kids chasing them up and down the field.

My son said that he wish we would move to the black side of town with a straight face. Uh...there is no black side of town in New Braunfels, son. Sad times.

Maybe it will change in a few years then. Think they also are split up too much with the 3 high schools there in Killeen. I just know for the last 8 years the killeen schools haven't been competitive at all.
 
My daughter will be attending Killeen High this year. I haven't really paid attention to Central Texas High School football games in the past, but I'll probably attend a couple this year.
