Guacamole is my deal. It's what I bring to work when we have grazing days or potlucks or whatever.

A co-worker brought in a mayo/avocado mixture last week trying to pass it off as guacamole, but these folks knew better.

I teared up a little.

I don't mind some mayo in my guac...it stretches it out and adds some creaminess to it.

Although these days I can't seem to eat anything with raw onions in it without having indigestion and a fart-a-thon for 5 days after.

I don't know what all goes in it, but I know mayo is not part of it. Lime, cilantro, onions and tomato definitely does, though.

Mayo is nasty, man. Guac is good so long as you substitute the avocados with tomatoes and make salsa instead.

I make some real quick guac...just avocados, mayo, garlic salt, and diced onions. Nothing special, but tastes good. I don't want tomatos in there.

It's funny because I don't like tomatoes as is. Hate them in a burger or sandwich.

But if it's chopped or mashed in a sauce or something like that, I'm good with it.

They add another layer to the guac that you're not getting with the mayo.

Tomatoes have to be blended or something for me to eat them...just eating a big slab of raw tomato does nothing for me. I wish they did, that shit looks delicious.
