I do buy an exotic 6-er on Tuesday evenings, but any other time I'm sloshed out on the Champagne of Beers.

I'm normally a Miller Lite guy, but I have been going cheaper lately.

Chicken fried steak might be my death row meal. That was the best thing mama cooked growing up. Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, corn with white cream gravy over everything but the corn.

Man, I love me some good chicken fried steak. It's funny, when I go on the road, some of my colleagues not from the south will want to find a place that has chicken fried steak. Ate at this one place in DC once with a guy from Boston and a guy from DC, and they ordered the chicken fry. They wanted me to order it was well to give them an idea if it was good or not. It was terrible, but they tore it up.

Also, I agree with you. Chicken fried steak is one of my favorite meals. Rivaled closely by chicken fried chicken.

Deep fried pork chops > chicken fried steak, IMO. Both are gud tho.

Mashed potatoes, acceptable. I usually go with blackeyed peas or green peas over corn. Don't like corn.

Fried pork chops are good, but they don't hold a candle to a good chicken fried steak. And, get out of my mf'ing face with that green pea shit. Green peas are nasty. Choose from list above or just make the conscious decision to be wrong the rest of your life.

Some restaurants order their chicken fried steak patties pre-breaded instead of breading them fresh when you order them. It's unacceptable.
