I will say tho, that when it comes to fast food chicken, Popeye's is far superior to any other. And I would slap a MFer for their red beans and rice.
 
Another thing that I find to be awesome. Mixing black eyed peas into my mashed potatoes.

Their spicy chicken beats anything any other chain puts out hands down. And, yes, their red beans and rice are delicious as well.

Until I joined the military I had not had red beans and rice, black eyed peas, pecan pie...lots of what I would consider southern type food.

Another southern food that I don't like are collared greens. Well, really any greens at all. Mustard greens, etc.
