Do you know if there is a date set for the practice the team usually has in Cowboys Stadium that is open to the public?

It's the one they usually hold towards the end of the preseason.

I don't think there is one this year. Their annual blue/white scrimmage will be in Oxnard this year.

I was in a store the other day to pick up a few things and there was a country music station on the radio. I was in there long enough to hear two songs. One was a guy drawling "I'm gettin' drunk on a plane". The other was talking about taking another lap on the tractor to "Turn this cornfield into a party".

Absolutely terrible. Unlistenable garbage. I was embarrassed that these songs are ostensibly hits and embraced by millions of people.

I understand the same can be said of lots of other styles of popular music. It isn't just country. But that was the first time in a long time I'd really listened to any contemporary country hits and they were laugh out loud bad.

A lot of your die-hard country fans agree with you. Pop Country.

I don't have a high regard for some of the stuff that is being cranked out these days in the Country music market. Some of it is pure garbage.

It's all garbage now. Real country music is dying right along with it's legends.

If country and hip hop disappeared forever from the music scene, I wouldn't notice.

I just weep for the day that a guy like Eminem or Toby Keith croaks.

I might just laugh myself effing silly at the people suggesting they were musical geniuses.

And yeah, Tupac getting shot didn't even register on my radar either because I didn't listen to his noise.

I actually have to take exception to Eminem. I'm not one that normally appreciates rapping as a true musical talent, but him and Snoop are stupid good at arranging their words and rhythmic patterns.

I like Snoop, mainly because he doesn't give a shit. Eminem, eh. Just using him as an example.

Sorry, I don't respect modern Country or Hip Hop mainly because they are the new pop music. Very very empty and lacking in soul. Both literally and figuratively.

Talented, but I'm not a fan of his style. Sounds bratty.

Don't like my style? but it's been awhile

since you listened to shit that ain't been flipped

first a sample then trample you outta your mind

you be like oh thought he was bratty but now give a flatty

I'm not a huge rap fan, but you have to respect Eminem. Prior to him the most popular white rapper was Vanilla Ice. Everyone just assumed he was a joke when you first heard about him. Before he made it big it took a lot of courage to pursue it as a career.
